Sinharaja is Sri Lanka’s last remaining primary tropical rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of extraordinary biodiversity, where the air is dense with moisture, birdcalls, and the smell of ancient earth. The forest harbours over sixty percent of Sri Lanka’s endemic bird species, many of which are found nowhere else on Earth.
