Nilaveli is a quiet stretch of ivory sand fronted by transparent turquoise water and close to Pigeon Island National Park. Snorkelling at Pigeon Island reveals stunning coral gardens and an abundance of marine life, including blacktip reef sharks and sea turtles. The east coast season runs from May to September, when Nilaveli enjoys calm, clear conditions.
